  1. Hi all new here, I’m at my wits end. I would like your all opinions whether they be positive or negative. So my story started about 1 year ago. I recovered from covid and about 4 months later developed a problem with my heart rate and palpitations. Whether this is related idk. My heart rate would randomly for no reason jump to 170-180 and sat at about 75-100. When my heart rate did this I would feel it in my chest. I have had anxiety my whole life and know what a panic attack is this was not a panic attack. Even with anxiety my whole life I had never experienced these symptoms. When this happened it would freak me out and sometimes send me into a panic, but it was not triggered by stress or any obvious things in my life. I was put on metoprolol to manage my heart rate and blood pressure. I dealt with this for months with chest pains and arm pains. Saw a heart doctor, got an echo which was normal, have had multiple ECGS which have been normal, and had a chest CT with contrast that was also normal. Through this time I developed Reynauds as well. The only thing that my doctors found were high blood pressure and very high cholesterol from inactivity and diet from having been dealing with my heart rates. Cholesterol was remeasured after lifestyle changes and moved 40 points in right direction. At 28 my doctor said I can continue with lifestyle changes instead of medication and just monitor my levels(he also said it’s almost impossible to have problems at this age even with high cholesterol). On top of this my ALT and AST liver enzymes are slightly elevated. I have had bowel issues and within the last month have been experiencing blood pooling in my hands. When I stand they turn red purple and at rest they are normal. My doctors do not take me seriously and are dismissive since I have “anxiety”. I have tried ssri and other anxiety meds and symptoms have not improved. I have tried telling my doctor this isn’t normal for my age and that it’s not simply anxiety. Could I have pots? Could I have too much cholesterol clogging my vascular system even though I was active 95% of my life before this all happened? Am I crazy?
