The office of my daughter’s GI through Lurie Children’s hospital told me to find a doctor in Indiana. We live in Northwest Indiana, just 45 miles from Chicago, and the doctor we had at Lurie was highly recommended/endorsed from her doctor at Mayo and another GI doctor. To say I am dumbfounded doesn’t even begin to describe it. So now I am searching for a new GI doctor for her in the Northwest Indiana/Chicagoland area. Many of her autonomic symptoms have presented as GI issues so I really want to find a GI with an autonomic dysfunction connection. Thanks so much, marissa

As a result of late diagnosis for GI issues related to my daughter’s POTS, she has lost 20+ pounds in 5 months. She is now following a refeeding regimen. The doctors at Mayo suggested we find a therapist with an understanding of the refeeding process. We are in Northwest Indiana, Chicagoland area. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thank you
