Hi I had visual disturbances after a while of inactivity & weight gain one summer which I thought was ocular migraine as I had had it in pregnacys before but it would go by the end of the day but this one didn't go so they found optic nerve swelling at the the back of my eyes mostly left eye and did a load of tests including a lumbar puncture which straight away Got rid of the visual disturbances and the water retention and some of the excess water weight I was then diagnosed with iih They trialed me on acetazolomide But that made my whole body tighten up and spasm and mainly kidneys So I stopped that Lost some weight Tried spironalactone As I also had a large cyst on ovary causing excess testosterone But that caused me to feel like my head was too heavy for my body and like I couldn't stand In the end I just lost the weight which seemed to help But then when the cold weather started up around Christmas u started to get shakes in my legs and arms around night them really bad headaches and chest pain I went into hospital again I felt too sick to eat or drink much So after this lumbar puncture It was actually low Not high like the first one I had with the eye symtpms I thought I might have a spinal leak from the lumber puncture testing But in the end I was diagoosed with dysautonomia or pots But mystery optic nerves was not swollen anymore but my pulse would for fast qhick at times of standing up This has gone down a bit now But now I get tremor upon waking almost every night not sleep to Wake mode it happens I wake tired still with a sore throat headache and neck ache I only get chest pain on exertion now I'm awaiting a 5 day heart test At the moment I have been inactive due to lockdown And waking up with heavy head Dizzy Eyes flitting And head heavy
