My son was just diagnosed with dysautonomia and he was boderline for POTS (he is 12). It all started with unbelievable abdominal pain and severe constipation. Anyway 18 months at Stanford with no diagnosis we then went to Mayo and go the diagnosis. He is doing great on the fatigue part with salt and water and exercise. But the abdominal pain is still bad even though we have solved the constipation with Sena and dulclax. I am wondering if anyone has had help with the abdominal pain through medication or other strategies. The pain dr recommended Zoloft but we haven’t tried it yet. My son doesn’t feel sick but just the stabbing pain.
