One thing I can't work out is my resting heart rate changes from 61bpm to 84bpm, and tends to wander around between these two figures without me moving. Has anyone else experienced this with either POTS/EDS3? Does anyone know what can cause this?

Thanks for the information. I bought a proper chest mounted heart rate monitor, and emailed my GP a screenshot showing him the instant rise in blood pressure, and he phoned me the next day, arranged bloods and a cardiologist referral, and I am going to have an ECG next week to check nothing else is going on. I am lucky insomuch as my GP accidentally chemically castrated me and doesn't want me to sue him so he is being extra helpful. Once again thank you for your support.

Hi, I don't know much about dysautonomia. I get sick and dizzy if I sit up or stand. I have to lay on my side. My heart rate goes from 77-135 within minutes of standing. I can't get a GP appointment for a while. I am not sure if I should wait or go to the hospital. Can anyone share experiences about how long you waited with symptoms like this before being diagnosed, and if you went to the hospital for immediate care at any time? Thanks
