  1. Hello everyone! I was just recently diagnosed with POTS and I have a lot of questions for you all, but my most urgent question has to do with employment. I will be turning 26 soon which means I am no longer covered under my parent's insurance and will need to provide my own. Ideally I would like to find a full-time job with insurance and other benefits, but I’m really not confident in my ability to hold down said job. On my good days I feel like I might be able to, but unfortunately I have more bad days than good and worry that even if I did find a job I might not be able to handle it and would either quit or be fired. I currently work from home part-time but even that is difficult to manage at times. I don’t feel like my POTS symptoms are too severe (I don’t have syncope episodes and my HR doesn’t skyrocket like some) and I am extremely grateful for the things that I AM able to do, but sometimes the fatigue and brain fog are unreal. I also get migraines periodically and on those days I am pretty much useless. I don’t think I could do anything too physical since I have trouble standing for long periods and my balance is terrible. I have also been diagnosed with ADD on top of brain fog so concentrating on any task is difficult at best. I am trying to stay positive, but the idea of starting a new job is scary enough on its own, and with added health problems I am just feeling a bit overwhelmed and unsure of what my future holds. My main question is: What do you all do for income? Do you work full-time, part-time, work from home, or are you on disability? Any suggestions would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
