  1. Hi, I'm looking for a little advice. This weekend I leave to go to a church camp overseas for 3 weeks. I am an orthodox Christian, so a lot of the religion is based in standing out of respect. My pots is the worst in the morning, especially before I have eaten anything. There is a fifteen minute service in the morning right before breakfast, one more service before dinner (these happen every day, one every time we travel to another church (every other day) and a big, long service every Sunday. I know I won't be able to stand during the morning services. I'm just nervous about having to literally sit out on the side. I'm going in not knowing anyone and I just don't want judgement because I can't stand. I'm really nervous about being so different and sitting. No one sits because it is seen as extremely disrespectful. I just want to be able to stand like everyone else. Any words of wisdom? Thanks
  2. I'm going in to the hospital to get my first ever tilt table test soon! I was told the appointment was 2 hours. I thought the test was only 45 minutes, why would the doctors need 2 hours for the test? I also found that some doctors give the patient nitroglycerin. Do the all give nitro? Or are you given an option if you want to receive nitro or not? I have almost no idea what to expect and I'm pretty nervous. What are you even supposed to do for 45 minutes? Do you just stare at a wall and wait to faint? If any of you have experience can you share your story?
  3. In a week and a half I'm going to be going on several college tours. There's a lot of standing and walking around involved with no seating. I'm worried about being on my feet for so long. I'm fine with walking, but I am so only able to stand still for a few minutes at a time. I don't want to draw attention to myself and have to sit down on the ground in the middle of the tour. Any tips?
