Thanks Kjay and Corina for responding. A lot has happened since I last posted. My daughter's cardiologist is in the process of trying to refer her to the Mayo Clinic in Scotsdale, Arizona for autonomic testing by a neurologist. I'm wondering, however, if they will test her for epilepsy again......is that one of the tests they run when they are doing autonomic testing or should we see a neurologist here while we are waiting for the Mayo clinic stuff to be set up? When she blacks out it is almost always followed by a seizure and, although she tested negative for epilepsy when she had the test in the fourth grade, I'm thinking it is time for a follow up since apparently only 3% of people with dysautonomia have seizures. Anyway, I'm hoping we don't have to wait long to get the referral. I'd like to get her some help as soon as possible.

So, I checked the Dinet list of doctors and it appears as if there are no experts in Nevada. I am thinking that this summer I'd like to take her somewhere to be fully evaluated and get help for all of her many symptoms. Does anyone have any suggestions about where we should go?
