Phosphatidylserine helps me in 3 ways: it decreases my anxiety subtly, it gives me a bit more endurance during the day, and most significantly, it helps me think sequentially instead of going through the day in a fog. I think it has helped decrease my memory blips, ie words on the tip of my tongue I just can't think of, and hold onto my train of thought instead of starting to write or talk about something and then completely forget where I was going with it. At the health food stores in my area, there are Phosphatidylserine supplements that have other ingredients in them and market themselves as brain food/cognitive clarity helper, but I am very cautious about what I put in my body because I feel extremely sensitive to things. I tried Jarrow Formulas PS-100 that only has soy-based Phosphatidylserine in it, and I've taken one a day for almost a year and a half now. It was amazing to find.. the only good thing I got from that certain MD I saw.
