Radha Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 i have chronic nasal congestion, bad, tried all the usual allergy meds and steroid sprays, with little relief, its all year, so never thought it was due to allergies, anyway, when i take a migraine med like maxalt or imitrex, i notice that the congestion is better, can breathe better thru nose, and was wondering if this is just a coincidence, or if something in the med is helping my nose, maybe constricting the vessels in the nose or something? well, if anyone has any idea please let me know, its so hard trying to figure stuff out yourself!, wish you all some sleep tonight radha Quote
faithinspires Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 not sure of answer to your ?, but aside from Nasonex, I use a netti pot saline rinse for my nose and it helps sooo much. Quote
Poohbear Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I'd have to research it more but I do think I have heard of this before. I don't know if the Professionals know why this is though. Quote
