Sushi
This is very interesting. I have been tested for all the various forms of folate and have extremely high levels of the unmetabolized form and extremely low levels of active folate. And though I do have hEDS, I don’t have the MTHFR variations in question. After reading this I took a tiny dose of active folate as I have had trouble with normal doses in the past. Sarah Tee
Wow, I hope it turns out to be correct. Can you get methylated folate from food? I tried searching but couldn’t seem to find an answer. Edited to add: Tried different search terms and got an answer. It is in food, mostly (only?) vegetables, but it may bd hard to get enough in your diet even if you include those foods.
