Motheroftwo Posted August 28, 2018 Report Share Posted August 28, 2018 I am sure this is the great debate...are these centers scams or do they really help but I am curious if anyone HAS visited either treatment center if they can reply. I am done with all suggested treatments as none have helped. I am curious is it worth taking a leap of faith and going to one of these treatment centers because I need a change and need it now! I was diagnosed 3 years ago and seen every dr imaginable. I recently went to Stanford and it was basically confirmed and suggested hEDS. I left with very little treatment and more of a suggestion on compression wear. I am curious if anyone has been to POTS Care in Colleyville TX or POTS Treatment Center in Dallas TX. Which is better? StayAtHomeMom Posted August 29, 2018 Report Share Posted August 29, 2018 As far as I know, having an underlying cause of hEDS makes it difficult to treat. There is no cure for hEDS and all they can do is treat the symptoms. Have they tried you on any medication yet? If you do try one of those centers please update this.
