I am not in need of a cane for walking but having a seat in certain circumstances sounds wonderful (instead of sitting on a curb, the ground, squatting, etc.) Has anyone tried one? Is it light enough to be useful without cumbersome? I have found one for about $40 including shipping online with a foam handle that is aluminum but does not list its weight. Jan Posted March 27, 2016 Report Share Posted March 27, 2016 I used to use one before my symptoms got better. It was wonderful. Especially when I had to wait in a check out line. I didn't need a cane but it was fine to use as a cane and not a bother at all. I never knew when I would have the strong need to sit, especially in stores.
