statesof
I've had this since my POTs symptoms got worse, but there is one are of my head that is very very sensitive to any physical pressure of any kind; if I touch that area of my head and put pressure on it, it is almost like I feel like there is an air bubble there for the rest of the day and I just feel "off". Anyone else have anything like this? Thanks.
angelloz
I get spots and areas that feel bruised when I touch them. I think this is allodynia.
Katybug
I have a few issues. First, I have allodynia and it is particularly bad in my scalp. I also have to be careful of wearing headbands, hats, hair accessories because what seems like a small amount of pressure can trigger a migraine or dizziness or both. I also can sometimes tolerate the weight of sunglasses on my face/nose but other times it can be a trigger for nausea, dizziness, or migraine. Sylvie33
Ditto. In addition I am losing my hair (my digestion has improved, so I'm waiting for this to stop). No dice. My scalp sensitivity, like all my sensory issues, worsens as the day goes on.....Katybug's, you are a font of knowledge...do you (or anyone else) know of anything helpful to address this?Thanks.. Katybug
Sylvie,Hi! I would prefer to not be a font of this particular knowledge! Lol! But, thanks for the compliment! So, do I know of anything to address which of the things we mentioned?Katie
statesof
Yea I have one area on the top of my head that is very sensitive, even a little bit of pressure and I just feel "off" throughout the rest of the day, haven't yet gotten an explanation for it. Is your always the same area and sensitivity? or does it change from day to day? Mine is always the same.
Sylvie33
Katie: who asked for any of this? Yet I appreciate your wisdom.....States of: top of my head....worsens (like everything for me) as the day goes on....I'm now going to try to look up why symptoms worsen at night....especially true for neuropathic pain....
