fitnesskelly
Any recommendations on what I need to do or say while in the doc's office? I'm assuming he will send me for testing to get an official diagnosis.I'm not sure how far a cardiologist can get with this type of disorder. I am trying to get into Ohio State's neuromuscular department as well (housed under neurology), but they are booked solid for 6 months (luckily cardiologist is in Ohio State's system, so maybe he can get me in sooner). Guest ANCY
Something I've found helpful is bringing a log of blood pressure and heart rate. I try to include different positions when taking bp which my cardiologist has found very helpful in seeing where I'm actually at. I have seen a couple different cardiologist and thier knowledge and willingness to treat this condition has varied greatly.Hope your appointment goes well and it works out for you. statesof
One thing I've heard on this forum that I think is good advice is to explain to your doctor how you feel on your bad days so they know what your going through, rather than just explaining how you feel the day of.
