LTCBL
Do any members with POTS use infra red heat lights to warm up bathroom (during quick shower/sponge bath)without negative affects? Any benefit of using white vs. red lamps?LTC Bill
Katybug
Hi there, LTC Bill,I wanted you to know that we are reading your question, but I would venture to guess that the lack of response is due to most of us trying to avoid heat as most of us are heat intolerant. I would probably pass out if I heated my bathroom. But I didn't want you you to feel as though we aren't here for you. Take care,Katie
LTCBL
Thank you Katie, I was hoping the infra red light heating in small doses might work.
Katybug
Infrared heat is the same kind of heat that allows the sun to heat things. Can you handle being in the sun?
bunny
I don't have IR lamps, but I do have small space heaters in my bathrooms. Humidity, rather than heat, bothers me most in the bathroom. I also tend to get cold very easily, so the heaters are my best friend. When I get chilled, no amount of blankets/towels will do. Only external heat works, and it works wonders for me. If I'm in a hotel and get chilled, I'll fire up the hair dryer as a temporary fix.
