Katybug
I'm on depo provera as I can't take any orals cause they make me sick and apparently even the estrogen in Nuvaring makes me nauseous. I too need it for dysmenorrhea. It stops my cycle and I can tolerate it without side effects. Without I have worsened pots symptoms as well so docs agreed it was worth the risk of osteoporosis as I do other things to counter that. MomtoGiuliana
I am on bcps right now for a short time b/c of ovarian cysts and problems caused by them. I didn't think I could tolerate the bcps bc I did not 15+ yrs ago. However I am doing ok on them. I have slightly more POTS symptoms than "normal". I thought being over 35 it would be a problem. My dr said now bcps are quite low dose and only a concern for smokers over 35.
IceLizard
I am 28 and on Mircette oral. It has really helped me with dysmenorrhea and menorrhagia. I went through several brands of pills before I found I tolerated this one well.
