Goschi
Since app. 3 weeks I got a new symptom. Whenever I do "mental" activities such as reading, writing or even watching tv, I get very nauseous within a couple of minutes. Sometimes it gets better after some time, but in most cases it progresses steadily and I have to quit the activity eventually.I have the feeling that this must be a POTS symptom, but it is new at least for me. Anybody else struggles with this?
Katybug
I can have my nausea triggered by almost anything including the activities you mention above. But my guess, and it is a guess, is that it is not because it's a mental activity but because they are all ocular activities. Trying to keep my eyes focused on a paper with lines of print is nauseating when I am already on the edge. The motion on a tv screen can trigger motion sickness and writing is a whole other beast for me due to my nystagmus and neuro issues in my arms and hands. Anyway...like I said it's my best guess. Goschi
Thanks, Katybug! That's a very good aspect - all those activities are actually affecting the eyes, almost always involving electronic screens, which won't make things better, I guess.
