Faintinggoat
I'm sure there has been a post on this before, but My doctor prescribed Coreg for me today, to help with the Tachycardia. Has anyone else taken coreg before, or is anyone else on it now? How did it work for you? My BP isn't bad, but she still warned me that it could bring my BP down too much. SarahA33
Hi Fainting goat,I can't offer any advice w;/ Coreg. I've never been on it. Just wanted to wish you the best of luck that this helps you. Fingers Crossed!!Sarah
Faintinggoat
Hey Sarah thanks! I have no idea if its helping or not. I feel kinda weird, but its not anything different from what I have felt with the POTS, so I'm not sure if its the meds or the POTS making me feel weird. KareBear
It's been quite a few years since I had been on Coreg (extended release) and from what I remember it was one of the few meds that seemed to help my heart rate without making my symptoms worse. The problem was back then my insurance didnt want to pay for it (I dont think there was a generic yet or something) so I had to stop taking it. I hope it helps you! It always takes me a few weeks or longer to adjust to a new med so I'm sure you may be going thru that too. Good luck and let us know how it works for you. Faintinggoat
Thanks for the response. I hope that it helps me, or that we find something that does help soon. Will keep updated.
