Guest wishing&hoping Posted May 8, 2013 Report Share Posted May 8, 2013 I just maxed out on my prescription benefit for the year!!!! Am on Bystolic and about 10 other meds; and on disability. Anyone know of resources for us POTsies? Also just got diagnosed with "probable" celiac disease. Blood work was highly suggestive of it. Need to go on strict diet. Add another limitation to the list of what I can't do. Sigh. Thanks for any suggestions. I hope Obamacare will fix this. Do we have an advocacy group?? Katybug Posted May 9, 2013 Report Share Posted May 9, 2013 If any of your docs work out of a hospital ask if they can hook you up with a social worker in the hospital. That person should be able to help find resources for you. Also, for any name brand drugs, try contacting the drug company directly ...many of them will supplement or give drugs to people with financial limitations.
