looneymom Posted March 12, 2013 Report Share Posted March 12, 2013 I just got back part of my son's blood work. His current iron total is 47. Normal range is 27-164. Test before was 36. His current iron binding capacity is 311 and normal range is 271-448. However on the test before, his iron binding capacity was 392. His iron binding capacity on this test is lower.All of these test were done by the same lab and have the same ranges. What exactly does this mean? Is this the reason why my son's headaches have come back and why he is shaking so bad when he stands up? Our GP says there is nothing wrong. I'm getting ready to fax the results to the cardiologist.
