issie
Here's a couple of articles that I found interesting.http://www.ncbi.nih....pubmed/19110321http://www.ncbi..nlm...pubmed/17211725I don't know why this last one won't pull up --but, if it doesn't the title is "Spicing up" of immune system by curcumin. Very interesting article showing the different cytokines involved in immune system issues and how curcumin can help with those manifestations.Issie
LMG
Thanks for posting the links. My acupuncturist is very intent on my trying curcumin/turmeric for the frequent migraines I get. Anyone taking in on the forum? Any pros or cons? I am pretty sensitive, as are most of us.
Jennij
I have been taking turmeric for about a year. I don't really notice any significant positive effects but no negative so that's a good thing. I do know its highly recommended by many people. issie
I find it helps my pain a whole lot. I take it with ginger. It seems the combination is better then just by itself. I found these articles really interesting because of the fact of them helping with autoimmune issues, of which I have.Issie
diamondcut
I am grating pure ginger root and drinking it as a tea, could you just add a spoonful of turmerric to that, as lovely as that would taste. Be great if it helped migraines too, ginger most certainly helps my nausea. More than ANY antiemetic drug i have ever tried, and i have tried a lot!!!
