looneymom Posted September 20, 2012 Report Share Posted September 20, 2012 I have a 12 year old son that has POTS and I need to find a doctor that works with this age group. I have looked online but so many doctors want to work with the teenagers. Since my son has been diagnoised, some other strange symptoms have appeared. I assume they are part of POTS and hope my son will outgrow them. Since my son's condition took a turn for the worst this past summer, I had to quit my teaching job. I have a blog called survivingpots.com if you would like to read about our journey towards his diagnosis. I have many friends, chruch members and former students that want to know how things are going. My blog is clean and has no cussing. My son does see a cardiologist and neurologist but both of these doctors are considering sending my son to another clinic. I don't think our specialist see's 12 year olds but you could ask, if it isn't too far. He used to work in Cleveland with the Dr's Chelimsky who are autonomic specialists. I got my son in to see our doctor by emailing him and bypassing his scheduling department. If you are interested, PM me and I can forward you his email address.
