Babygirl1973
Afterthought-How long should I stop taking my supplements prior to the blood tests? I am planning two weeks, and to be honest that makes me nervous. I would like the results to be as accurate as possible, so I am going to try.... firewatcher
Hi Christi,The hormone panels need to be taken in context with where you are in your menstrual cycle. Honestly, without a whole cycle of draws at exactly the same time every week, they don't mean much. When I had mine done that way, it showed that all my sex hormones were much too low for me to be ovulating, one test would not have shown that.Whatever they show, keep a record of all of them. You will be able to track changes over time and probably catch a change or trend long before your doctor does.Depending on your symptoms, you might add a heavy metal toxicity study (blood and hair.)
