Elenapap11
I am considering seeing a specialist abroad because so far i haven't had any satisfactory answers about my health problems.I need a good neurologist and dysautonomia specialist.Since the U.S. is too far for me(and i can't travel long distances at the moment) i am thinking of U.K. Does anyone know a good doctor who has helped patients with POTS?i've read about dr.Mathias in the forum.I would appreciate any suggestions.Thank you. JanetM
I would also be very interested in hearing about UK docs as I am in Ireland but not getting anywhere with my cardiologist here.
persephone
AVOID OXFORD LIKE THE PLAGUE.Julia Newton, in Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle is meant to be very good; genuinely caring and well informed, as I understand it. flop
Prof Mathias at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen's Square, London is good for getting a diagnosis. I went there for testing in January 2008. I was hoping that he would come up with a treatment plan for my local cardiologist to follow - unfortunately I have only tried one new med (Ivabradine) in the 2 years since I was tested. The follow-up is frustrating.Flop
