jump Posted August 21, 2009 Report Share Posted August 21, 2009 Hello all,I just read that hormonal birth control & supplements (the pill, the ring, depo shots, etc) can cause wacky BG and insulin resistance in some individuals. Usually, it causes normal fasting BG and insulin readings and abnormal non-fasting readings.Something to consider if you're having problems with this!
