cordila
My new endo was preaching the virtues of Pedialyte and I was wondering if anyone drinks Pedialyte daily. How does it work for you?
Katja
I used to, but it's too expensive (even the drug-store brand). I just drink Gatorade now.
flop
When I'm very dizzy I drink dioralyte (similar UK product). However on a day to day basis I don't need or want the sugar or sweetners that are in electrolyte packs or sports drinks. I put a tiny pinch of himalayan salt in my drinking water and that does the trick for me.Flop
Guest tearose
I use the dry packets for my daily outings and do feel the difference when I use them. For around home, I learned how to keep cost low by using a combo of salt, sugar and emergency C packets. I also use a daily slo-mag supplement which is my extra potassium.Pedialyte is super to have for home use if fighting a cold or virus and you are too weak to do a homemade mixture. Why is your doctor recommending it?I can't tolerate gatorade. cordila
Hi Tearose:Mr Dr. said it's an excellent way to hydrate and said that many of his ans patients swear by it. I like your homemade brew. I'll have to give that a go as well. -WB
