Radha Posted January 18, 2009 Report Share Posted January 18, 2009 i am thinking of trying bentyl for some stomach cramping when i eat, but i dont have any constipation or diahrrea, very normal bowel movements, just some cramping, and i dont get the same cramping everytime so i dont want to have to take it every single day, but then will it work if you start feeling the cramps suddenly? not sure if its just gas, or something else, but do you think bentyl could help me? i dont want it to get me constipated or feel even more lightheaded than i do now, any input would be appreciated, thanksRadha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nunibenuni Posted January 19, 2009 Report Share Posted January 19, 2009 I took bentyl a couple years ago, before I was diagnosed with POTS. I took it because I was getting horrible stomach aches. It did help me. I took it three times a day as a preventative. I can't say if it made my POTS worse because I did not know about POTS then, but it did help my stomach.
