Anyone been through this or know anything about it? Did it help?

I have not been through it, but am thrilled to hear there is such a program and hope that there will be more everywhere.

Over the years I have tried to do similar for my dys health issues and have had some wonderful docs helping me.

One doc that has helped me quite a bit is the DO I see.

Many DOs in general focus on the ANS.

Does anyone else get OMT to try and help some of there ANS symptoms?

Hi,

How/where did you find this? I have never seen/heard of it before, and I have had many OSU drs. and have looked at a lot of information from there. Is there any other info than the one page? I am interested and may have to check it out, because I have never heard about it until now. But, as an FYI I have already outgrown all the drs. for this region, so I am not sure how beneficial this will be...

Thanks!!! :)

There have been numerous posts about cardiac rehab for ans issues recently, which I find very interesting. It would be really nice to see some published protocols! I think the principle is that gradually building up tolerance for activity and upright activity is a good thing, and that many of us need monitoring along the way. But it;s hard since most cardiac rehab places don't really know what to do with us. I was basically leading the show, and they were there to tell me if my bp or hr were out of range. More rehab places need to know how they can help us.

Just wanted to let everyone know - I clicked the link and read the information (I'm in Ohio, so I was getting excited about this!), then called the number at the bottom for more information. I got a call back today that the study is no longer available ;) - Brandy (who was listed as the contact person along with the phone number) is no longer working there, and the rest of the staff just hasn't figured out how to remove the information from the internet. Figures. :(
