HI,
DO YOU KNOW SOME TIPS FOR TRAVEL WITH POTS. SOME MEDICAL TRIPS. I AM GOING TO VIVIT NEW YORK, COULD YOU RECOMMEND TO ME SOME ESPECIAL PLACE? IN NEW YORK SALE THE BRACELET OF POTS?
THAK YOU FOR YOUR HELP
I was in NY last weekend. Did not ask for tips before I went and I regret it. You are smart. My plane ride was not good. But if I had good tips i'm sure it would have been better. Make sure you wear compression hose, order a wheelchair to travel throughout the airport. Have a good time and good luck!

Hi Lauren
I have the same problem shortness of breath when walking, talking and when I sleep. My pulmonary test show my lungs are restricted. Also, I had a sleep study done showing sleep apnea. I never had any problems with my breathing until the pots......Good luck

I am looking for a new neuro in ohio. Most likely in NW ohio but would consider other areas. I need to find one as the others didn't make the cut.
thanks

Hi susie
I am in the same situation. I am waiting to see Dr. Hanna at MetroHealth. Dr. White (retired) was a great neuro at Metro and trained Dr. Hanna. I will let you know after I see him. By the way I am a Cleveland Clinic patient and Dr. Foud diagnosed me. Still on the hunt.

Hi
I am very new to this site and happy to find people that can relate with me. I am a single parent and recently been diagnos with POTS! I have 3 kids one 14 years old, 18 years old and 21. I was injuried in oct 2004 a ton of raw iron struck me in my head and I have been suffering since. The doctors told me a damaged nerve cause my pots and also I have brain injury. But my children suffered as well. I could not do any fun things with them, I barely make it to their programs at school, I was a rack at my 18 year old high school graduation, and now my oldest is graduating from college (NY) in May I am nervous that I will be to sick to enjoy my first kid graduating from college. I have been talking with my kids so they can understand what is going on. They are older but they all need to know what is going on with their parent. The days I have less pain I make the best of it and enjoy my love bugs. If you can only just give them a hug they will surely enjoy that moment. I wish you and your family all the luck. Hang in there
