I took the Moderna shot May 21 . 2 days ago I noticed a quarter size bald spot . Went to dermatologist today and she said that I have Alopecia Areata and it’s an autoimmune that will attack my hair follicles. I told her my hair has never fallen out and how could I just get an autoimmune just like that . She said that something triggered it . My mind went to Covid vaccine ?
Has anyone experience this diagnosis close to getting the shot?
