Thank you! I’ve had a lot of bloodwork done. They are all in the normal range. What can a Echocardiogram show that an Electrocardiogram can’t? .. sorry, I’m just nervous that it could be something with my heart.

I’ve tried to count my heartbeats pr. minute from sitting to standing up. It is 90 beats/min. when sitting and 100 beats/min. after I’ve been standing still for 10 minutes.

I will try the stockings 😊👍

Oh, never mind on this one. I did after eating alot of candy 😬 It’s not usually that high

@Nicoline - your symptoms sound familiar. Here in the US a doctor would commonly prescribe these tests: EKG, Echocardiogram, holter monitor, complete blood work including iron and vitamins as well as thyroid panel, orthostatic vital signs. After that they often want a Tilt table test done to evaluate the orthostatic symptoms - this test would show if you have POTS or NCS or both ( although it can give false results ).

Good job with increasing salt and hydration. You may also add compression stockings - that can help enormously, especially in mild cases. Good Luck!

@Nicoline Have you had your ferritin and B12 checked? What about a holter monitor? You’re female, are any of your symptoms worse/better during certain times of your cycle?

Hi! Yep, ferritin is normal. My B12 was a tiny bit low, but supplement corrected it. No, no holter monitor.

No I don’t think my symptoms are different through my cycle, but I’ve just stopped taking birth control nuvaring after many years - so I haven’t really had a cycle until now 🙂

  4. Hi!

    I’m a girl, 25 from Denmark.

I saw this forum and thought I might give it a try. Maybe some of you could regonize my problem.

I’m dealing with: Dizzyspells when standing up, heart palps and lightheaded when standing still for longer periods, heart “skips” beats, sometimes lightheaded/fatigue in hot weater and showers, often lightheaded/feeling unwell when working out, often lack of energy

All of these are (fortunatly) mild and haven’t made me pass out. BUT I have passed out a few times: from having blood drawn, when mom phonecalled me and told me my dad had became injured, once I blowdried my hair back in preschool, when visiting sister on the hospital. (Seems like it has to do with adrenaline and vasovagal syncope).

BP is normal around 120/80 and 117/77. I’ve increased salt intake but no difference. I’m trying to always stay hydrated. Bloodwork for magnesium and iron is normal. ECG is normal.

    Anyone??
