Back in April, my gallbladder was removed because it wasn't functioning, I went home that evening, but by that night I was having horrible abdominal pains. I was hospitalized the next day, because my digestive system basically shut down, because i had an ileus. It took several days before it resumed function, after having a liquid diet, taking medications, and being on IV fluids. It was horrible. I still feel sick from it.
