  1. I get nausea in the morning too. I used to think I was pregnant! Now I just live with it - it wakes me nice and early most mornings. Nausea is usually coupled with extreme fatigue and a racing heart for on waking for me. Fortunately my nausea goes away within about an hour of getting up. Cutting out sugar and refined carbohydrates recently seems to have helped quite a bit, as well as making myself eat an apple and some wholegrain toast when I get up. Sometimes sitting in the sun and getting some fresh air helps too (summer here in Australia). It's awful though I know! Actually, I have heard an explanation for it, something to do with an imbalance between the sympathetic & parasympathetic divisions of the autonomic nervous system. The parasympathetic nervous system is mainly concerned with digestive function.
  2. Jacquie, shopping is the worst for me too. So fatiguing, I dread it sometimes. Can you find someone to go with you? Some days I set my timer for 5 minutes to get some housework done then rest for 10 - 15 minutes or more, and so on. I'd like to get into an exercise program as I've heard this can help (for non-CFS people). It's just getting started! lol!
  3. Yep, that happens to me sometimes and I haven't had any kids yet! Currently my dysautonomia symptoms have flared and I've had a lot of urinary urgency when my bladder is empty. How weird is that! Have a great holiday season all.
  4. Thanks for your welcome Jacquie. Such a relief, someone else with these symptoms! I'm sorry to hear you get them too! I think I will see someone. Thanks for the encouragement.
  5. I'm wondering if anyone else can relate to these strange symptoms? I go through phases where I find it extremely difficult to get out of bed in the morning. Not because I'm tired - I wake feeling 'wired', with a racing heart & nausea -yet it takes almost every ounce of motivation and strength to physically get out of bed!! Then after 10 - 30 minutes I feel relatively fine. Last night I had the 'adrenalin rushes' again. When I tried to get up, my arms and shoulders felt numb, I'm was wobbly on my legs and felt semi-comatosed (frighteningly so). And yet this morning I wake feeling fine, like I could even do some light aerobics. This is a repeating pattern for me. I'd prefer not to talk to my doctor because I don't want 'neurosis' on my medical record! I've haven't been diagnosed with a dysautonomia, however I suspect MVPS. Does anyone get anything even similar to this? Please help
