  1. I live in CT At this point I am willing to go anywhere to figure this out he has been sick for 6 weeks and basically cannot function
  2. I have a 13 year old son who has been having symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and occasional vomiting with movement. he vomits small to moderate amounts. He has been suffering form these symptoms for 6 weeks. We have ruled out GI problems, ears, eyes, and two MRI'S one with contrast and one without that show nothing that would cause the symptoms. His blood work has been normal except for some dehydration. When someone mentioned if I have ever taken his BP or pulse I decided to check this to see if there was something to this. when taken sitting and then standing position his BP will change little but not allot but his pulse will increase anywhere form 20 to 30 BPM. if taken after 2 minutes of standing then at 10 it will increase. ex. standing 2 minutes 129/84 pulse 105, 8 minutes 135/83 pulse 118, 19 minutes 128/86 pulse 122. his pulse will also go as high as 126 just by taking a shower. History of a healthy 13 year old until this. he is 5'5'' and 132 pounds. He is not overweight and use to be very active in sports. He was border line hyperactive until this. I have mentioned POTS to his pediatrician and he says there is nothing wrong with his heart but we are running out of options. We are suppose to see and endocrinologist on the 17th of this month and have an appointment with a neurologist on April 1st. They are trying to get something sooner but it does not look good. If you cold even help me with the questions I should ask the Doctors or test maybe they could do I would be grateful. Understand he has been sick for 6 weeks sitting in a recliner except for 1-2 hours that he goes to school as tolerated. Longest he can handle sitting in a chair at school is 3 hours.
