  1. This is probably my third ER visit in the past two weeks, and the first time they have decided to check my Magnesium which the doctor said is severely low. I'm about to get some via iv and he is making sure I follow up with nephrologist and endocrinologist. Me being the anxious wreck that I am, I am a wee bit concerned. Any ideas on what could cause it besides diet?
  2. I feel for you. I can only do one cup a day. I used to drink it all day long. If I did that now I'd die. Lol
  3. Funny thing is we have a dish washer, but don't use it. We found that we had it clean the dishes before or after anyways.
  4. I just bought a pour over because I've heard such great things about it. I'm definitely going to try that homemade syrup recipe. Sounds amazing! What brand coffee do you drink?
  5. Yup! I want to get a stool specifically for doing dishes.
  6. Same with the hernia and pots! Have you thought of having yours repaired?
  7. I don't have any advice, but I have been struggling for a similar amount of time and haven't been able to go back to work. Yet! I'm still holding out hope. Good luck!
  8. I second csf leak. I think they can test fluid that comes out of ear or nose. Was it a one time thing so far? Any other symptoms?
  9. That does make me feel a little better! Shortness of breath and the weird heart stuff are my most bothersome worrisome symptoms. I swear one my heart has no idea what it's doing. My hr fluctuates wildly. Hooked up to the monitor it showed quite a few pvcs too. But they didn't think it was anything fascinating. Lol
  10. Well two questions actually. One, is sinus Tachycardia and Tachycardia the same thing? Two, does anybody have a hard time getting rid of their tachy sometimes (ie not relieved by simply sitting down). I was in the ER for about 3 hours and my heartrate didn't go under 100. It can be pretty stubborn. And extremely finnicky as sometimes (mostly in the evenings/night) I'm bradycardic.
  11. Did everything come back normal? Have you ever had your lungs looked at?
  12. Interesting. What all did you have done with cardio. I saw a cardio last year, but the rbbb is new.
  13. Do you have any symptoms from it? Was it an incidental finding?
  14. 27 I have pots. And last year I had echo stress test etc that I was told were good. I did find out last year that I have a murmur.
  15. Anybody have this?! I just had an EKG in ER and they told me not to do any exercise and to follow up with cardio. Scared!
  16. For coffee drinkers, what's your favorite way to have it? I'm sitting here drinking my eight o'clock coffee with milk in it feeling like I could use a change!
  17. I used to. Honestly we had a really hard time keeping them alive on three different occasions. And I have no idea why. We reaearched endlessly. Seriously. We didn't go into this like oh let's put a fish in a bowl of water. We really worked hard. Any fish 101 advice? I'd really love to have fish again, but I'd hate to be responsible for their demise.
  18. I have to take a decent breath when it happens. It feels weird. I get it alot with standing up and position changes. Sometimes it will happen while I'm doing nothing. I hate it. It feels like it's my heart's first day on the job and it doesn't know what it's doing. That's cool that you know what's actually going on with yours. Any treatment? Is it dangerous?
  19. Knowledge is power. I liked this video and watched a couple others. I did get a little reassurance from this. I feel like if doctors took the time to thoroughly explain things and "educate" us instead of just saying "you're fine, it's 'normal', lots of people have this, etc.." then we would do alot better in general.
  20. What does all that mean? My doc just referred me to cardio. It hasn't gone thru yet.
  21. What's the most "natural" way to get in those electrolytes? Does anybody have any recipes for homemade electrolyte drinks? Don't get me wrong, I love me some Gatorade and Powerade, but I could do without the sugar and junk.
  22. I always have trouble balancing fluids and electrolytes. My sodium always comes out a little low despite salt loading. And when I haven't been salt loading and drinking a ton of water and I feel worse than usual- it's normal. So Idk. I don't understand any of it and just want to feel better!
  23. Yes the ones on the side are pure torture. I get them in the "heart area" too. Those are unrelenting. I wish I had a good answer. They really worry me. Doctors just think I'm a big hypochondriac.
