  1. Did they let you have a phone when you did yours? I'm freaked out from the thought of not being able to talk to my friends for some days. - .- I am a very social type. But they said I can't even have visitors and that they're going to try to stress me out (sleep deprive, etc.). Basically since I already have my diagnoses they're trying to see if stress plays a factor for mine (at least this is what they told me they're doing it for). I mostly only have near-faints in my everyday life because when I feel it worsen I take measures to keep the faint from happening. I hope they can tell things from just dizziness and not make me faint again like on the TTT..........I'm afraid to ever have a TTT again because my experience on it. It's like you know it's coming but they won't let you sit or lie down and it's just the impending feeling that you're going to faint with nothing you can do (lack of control is a fear of mine)
  2. I waited 11 years for my TTT. Suspected I had some type of Dysautonomia since the beginning after researching my symptoms and begged doctors for the test for all those years. Turns out they think I have NCS and POTS after TTT finally done this year. The wait was horrific and filled with doctors who told me I was crazy or making it up (I live in an area with terrible doctors and health care in general). I haven't found any relief for my symptoms yet but at least I have some answers and can start trying to. I go in for a 2-day EEG hospital stay next week. It's tough, but we'll make it!
  3. They gave me Atenolol for it, which helps it a bit and keeps it around 90-lil over 100 resting. It used to stay about 120-140 resting. Yeah fainting on the TTT is no fun. I hate the feeling of fainting. ; .; And I always feel faint.
  4. I have resting tachycardia (somewhat more controlled with meds). Heartrate went from 90-ish to 159 very quickly on TTT (this is "normal" for me which makes me feel awful). Stood upright for a bit after a near faint on the TTT coming up, but after standing a lil my bp and heartrate dropped drastically and I fainted. Instantly diagnosed with NCS. One of the lil nurses vaguely heard of POTS and think I have that too but the main ones over it don't really know much about it. (I suspect I have it) Was never given any meds on the test. This is just my normal function of everyday life. Always feel awful when I do anything but sit and lean to one side, changing positions is torture, and if I don't sit/lean or lie down when I start feeling worse I will drop like a swatted fly. My heart rate does take a bit to settle down after I sit if it goes up fast, so I don't experience the drop unless I faint. That being said I'm glad your TTT wasn't that stressful for you because to me it was the worst test I've ever had in my life and it took me over a month to stop having faint-every-day on just standing for some seconds. I guess it really wore out my body and nerves. I've been begging for this test for ELEVEN YEARS though, ever since I first suspected I had something similar to POTS so at least I'm glad I got my own answers even if docs didn't know much about it. Happy docs finally listened to me enough to get me this test done.
  5. Massive gamer. I will game on anything that I can game on. Started when I was 2 on the Atari 2600 and NES, knew I wanted to be a game developer ever since (I make indie games). ^^ Right now I'm loving Dragon Quest XI English ver. I got the Japanese one last year on my birthday. Collectors Editions both times. Has my ultimate husbando so always naisu to see him on my big screen, especially now that he has a voice (they added voices in this release). XD
