My daughter was diagnosed with POTS three years ago. She has been dealing with swallowing problems for almost a year. She saw a ENT, pulmonologist, and a GI doctor in one day at a Stanford clinic. They used a camera to see in her throat where the food is getting caught.(FEES procedure). She also had a couple of fluoroscopic procedures done to confirm her swallowing problems. We are still waiting for the doctors to tell us what is the next step to relieve my daughter of this problem. She is down to one meal because of the difficulty of swallowing her food and coughing after eating to dislodge food. Has anyone else been through this? If so, what was done to correct problem?
