  1. I went through the same thing. Finally began to heal when I removed animal products, dairy and eggs from my diet. I slowly began drinking celery juice every morning on an empty stomach and incorporating fruits and veggies into my diet. I was amazed by how quickly I began to notice improvement. Prior to this change I couldn’t get out of bed without extreme exhaustion and all the symptoms you described. After 2 weeks of fruits and veggies and celery juice I could walk down the street, this kept increasing and now I’m waking 4 miles a day and have been symptom free for 5 months. It’s amazing when we recognize the healing powers of fresh fruits and veggies! Amazing!!

  2. I buy bones from an organic butcher or store, and I save my veggie scraps (ends of any veggie you chop for cooking) in the freezer. When it's time to make more bone broth I add the bones, veggies and water to a crick pot (full to the top) then add 2-3 TBS of apple cider vinegar and Himalayan sea salt and pepper. Cool on low for 12-24 hours. Strain and refrigerate the broth in glass jars. I drink at least one cup per day but when my stomach is upset I have one cup before every meal. It has made a world of difference to my GI tract.

  3. Dysautonomia isn't always about your heart rate or pulse. It can be body temperature, sweating, GI issues. Anything the autonomic nervous system controls, pretty much anything that happens automatically within our bodies. It all traces back to the brain though. Do some checking on the vagus nerve and how to strengthen it. Strengthening the vagus nerve has improved my GI symptoms greatly. Simple things like gargling water several times a day, gagging yourself and humming loudly all give your vagus nerve a work out. I would highly recommend Dr Ks book "Why isn't my brain working?" You'll probably find yourself in the pages and he offers excellent practical solutions. I ended up finding a local doctor who prescribed to the same understanding and started brain based therapy that has been life transforming!  Hang in there and know you're not alone!!

  4. I have had similar experiences. My doc explains that autonomic nervous system disorders are ultimately brain issues. Our autonomic nervous system is in charge of everything you described....temperature regulation, pupil dilation, heart beats, sweating....so it's rather "normal" for those of us with autonomic dysfunction. Pots is just one specific form of this disorder but ultimately it's all in the brain. You might consider looking for a dr who provides brain based therapy.

  5. I had to turn towards homeopathic and functional medicine to get true explanations and doctors who would look deeper than a standard test. Unfortunately medical tests only show results for diseases doctors can prescribe something for. Often issues happen long before they show up on traditional tests. Non-allopathic docs understand this.

My cause was a brain injury from a fall. However I've learned I had quite the imbalance in my body before the head injury which created the perfect storm.

Ive greatly improved my energy by altering my diet and taking only natural supplements and herbs to deal with brain fog, palpitations, etc. prescriptions only covered up some symptoms without addressing the true issue at all.  I still have my bad days but they are getting fewer and farther between now that I've maintained a consistent treatment protocol for the last 3 months.

  6. I'm the queen of alternative methods of treatment. I am currently doing Field Control Therapy (FCT) and it is helping a lot. I also do Frequency Specific Microcurrent which is also wonderful! I've also done neurofeedback. I do brain exercises three times a day and a night time amygdala calming exercise. In addition I've changed my diet completely (no gluten, nuts, sugar, legumes, dairy) and I take supplements that include a magnesium drink twice a day, ALA, fish oil, neuro and O2 support for my brain and blood and liver supports. It feels like my whole day revolves around maintaining this disorder but the alternative was days in bed. The only issue I still struggle with is weight loss and inability to gain. I'm severely underweight now which worries me.

  7. I've learned that dysautonomia creates a cycle of inflammation in the brain that directly impacts the gut. When there's constant inflammation the gut and brain become leaky allowing toxins and even our favorite foods to leak into the blood stream. When this happens our immune system kicks in to fight it but often triggers an autoimmune  reaction and ends up harming our own tissues. I would recommend working on healing a leaky gut. Do a google search on the best foods to eat and avoid. It may take 3-6 weeks to heal but for some a year may be necessary to avoid certain foods (e.g. Dairy). It's a pain but it works and I have seen much improvement in my dysautonomia symptoms too.

  8. I've experienced the same symptoms and have rushed to the ER as well only to be told it was panic or anxiety. I've since learned after finding a wonderful doc that my brain stem is overriding my upper brain allowing the sympathetic nervous system to take over. What I've always thought was heart issues is really my brain sending the wrong signals. The things that have worked for me are altering my diet (gluten/dairy/nut free) ensuring I have protein at every meal and eating every 3 hours no matter what; drinking plenty of water (at least half my weight in ounces); and I've started a brain based therapy with a functional neurologist which include exercises and supplements to support oxygenation of my brain and reduction of inflammation. Another just extra thing I do is EFT tapping which seems to work if I start it symptoms begin. The tapping seems to interrupt my body's reaction. Google EFT tapping and you'll find it for everything from weight issues to brain injuries. It's something you can do anywhere too!

  9. My doc has me doing activities at home like lying on the floor with my knees bent and I squeeze a stress ball in my left hand (which activates my right cerebellum) for 15 mins. I also wear red glasses during that time which calms my amygdala and pineal gland.  I start next week on some PT exercises - I don't know enough about those yet to explain.

  10. I experience the same. My doc explained that my sympathetic nervous system is short circuiting making my body respond as if a tiger is chasing me even when it's just a simple stressor. Basically im overreacting to the slightest stimuli. We're working to calm down my amygdala by reactivating my cerebellum and frontal lobe.

  11. They use bioresonance to test my body against vials of various organ tissues and heavy metals, viruses, parasites, bacteria, etc. Based on results they created homeopathic remedies associated with the organs and pernicious elements impacting the health of those organs. I start round two next week (was supposed to be this week but I was delayed due to my own schedule) and will be focusing on cerebral spinal fluid again, glia cells, genitourinary, pineal, mesoencephalon, sympathetic nervous system, amygdala and menenges.
