How and who diagnosed the neuropathy? I have an appointment with the autonomic specialist, but not until next February and I am worried that it will continue to get worse. Thank you!

Hey. Yes, on preventative for migraines. Tried and failed Topamax, nortriptyline, Maxalt and several others before trying Gabapentin. I fluctuate between 300-600 mg, but it works most of the time. I still have breakthrough headaches but those are manageable with rescue medication. No real side effects with the Gabapentin for me. Good luck!

Has anyone developed peripheral neuropathy as part of their autonomic symptoms? I'm waiting to see the autonomic specialist, but my feet have been hurting off and on for years and now hurt all of the time. They are better at night since I take Gabapentin prior to bed, but during the day they really hurt. If you have been diagnosed, what is your treatment? Thank you!

I've been on Fludrocortisone for the past 4 years because I have autonomic failure. I hurt my back last month, it's not getting better and would love to be able to take some kind of NSAID. Has anyone had success with it not interacting with the Fludrocortisone and causing gastric bleeding? I'm desperate. I have an appointment to see my pcp on Friday, but until then I could sure use some advice. Thanks!
