  1. I had both of those symptoms and then a ton of others. I had to stop it. I feel much better now that I did.
  2. Hi everyone, I just started 2.5mg of midodrine within the last week. My doctor said this is a pretty low dose so I did not think I would have any negative side effects... I must have been terribly wrong because I am feeling awful. Did anyone experience bad side effects with midodrine? If so, what kind?
  3. Thank you! It's very easy to get distracted and off of the normal routine that happens to me as well when I am focused. Then I am quickly reminded by the onset of symptoms lol.
  4. Thank you for sharing! I'm dealing with the same issues. This is all still so new to me. Monday starts off as "okay" and as the week goes on it gets harder. I'm going to keep pushing through. Try at least
  5. Thank you Sarah! I try to do the same
  6. Thank you! I have been drinking a ton of water and Gatorade in between. What kind are you drinking? I'd be interested in trying them.
  7. I just went back to work on Monday. Yesterday I started feeling worse than on Monday and Tuesday. Today I don't feel I can get out of bed. I am staying home but I feel horrible about missing work. I know we need to listen to our bodies and for once that's what I am trying to do. I just wish I didn't feel so guilty about it.
  8. Hi Everyone, I was recently diagnosed with POTS. I was on a leave from work but am trying to go back this Monday. I am really nervous and scared about going back. The last time I was there was before I was diagnosed and I had a very bad episode. At this point I still cannot really sit up without getting symptomatic. I am going to use a stool (or something similar) to elevate my legs at my desk and see if that helps any. The only time I am comfortable sitting is when I have my legs up. What are some of you doing at work while having a desk job? What do you find helpful? What do you find makes t
  9. I also have a rare thing called Eagle Syndrome and always thought it could be caused by that. Not positive though. I always used to sing and write. It seemed like one day out of the blue I couldn't hit the notes I could previously hit. Sometimes it would irritate my throat and head to sing and then I started noticing the echoing vibration thing. I too notice it when I raise my voice. Keep me posted on what you find!
  10. Hi Rosey, Thank you for sharing this! I've just been diagnosed and I find this extremely helpful and encouraging! Krista
  11. I have experienced a similar problem. Not only the vibration but also a kind of "echoing" in my voice. If that makes any sense?
