  1. Looks like a nice session for pots patients.
  2. Hang in there Ancy (I know it's easy for me to say). I cannot imagine what you are going through but I'm glad you are seeing your doctor tomorrow. It's nice that there is a little more information for you. Wishing you the best.
  3. That's terrible. Your poor daughter must be beside herself. I hope things get resolved soon.
  4. DizzyGirls, How is your daughter doing on the depo shots?
  5. I'm really sorry to hear that this has persisted. Has anyone consulted with your ANS specialist?
  6. I experience the same thing when I push it too much. Sometimes this causes my body to become so overstimulated that I cannot sleep.
  7. Ancy. I do not have any useful information for you but do hope they figure things out for you soon. Don't feel bad about reaching out to the community. Best regards.
  8. I'm curious as to why patients are being sent for a second tilt table test after a positive diagnosis of POTS. What is the reason for this?
  9. I agree that it may have something to do with dehydration as well. The heat in the winter and air conditioning in the summer can cause you to become even more dehydrated.
  10. Yeah, I am also not thrilled about taking birth control for a few reasons but the main one being the horrible side effects.
  11. Unfortunately, I experience problems before, during, and after my period. Over the past few months I started to see a trend in lower bp up to a week before menstruation. Yes, she is a lovely bichon. Samantha is my '"sister" (my mother's dog) and of course my favorite sister.
  12. Thank you for the links and response.
  13. Has anyone with POTS experienced a decrease in blood pressure starting about a week before your period begins? My neurologist said she had not heard of this before and recommended possibly starting birth control. I am hesitant to begin a new pill without knowing whether this is common with POTS or indicative of something else going on.
  14. Thanks to all who responded to my post. I am currently using the Sigvaris washing solution, but, I am trying to find a natural alternative. I just want to make sure I don't ruin my stockings (it is a mild detergent).
  15. Has anyone used castile soap to wash compression stockings?
