  1. Dan, sorry to hear you had such a rough time with the Paxil It can be difficult to adjust to SSRIs. Have you tried zoloft or prozac? Although they are in the same class as Paxil, I couldn't tolerate Paxil at all, but Zoloft I could. Go figure. Maybe you'll have a similar experience. Also, zoloft didn't stimulate me, it gave me the sleepies, usually an hour or two after I took a dose. good luck! Pam
  2. I had a tetanus shot last year and it was okay. I don't remember having any bad side effects, other than the place where I got my shot being very sore for a few days. Hope you feel better!
  3. I didn't have very good lucky with Paxil. It gave me very bad diarrhea (sorry to be gross!) I only took it for 2 days and then had to stop. But I did end up switching to zoloft, which helped me alot. So, if you can get thru the initial stuff I'd say it's worth it. good luck!
  4. I get the neck pain alot, probably from using this computer ;p But I also get earaches that are on and off. I talked to various doctors about it and they didn't see anything wrong with my ear. Finally I learned that it's probably due to TMJ. I guess on nights I grind my teeth alot it touches on a nerve near my ear.
  5. Not sure I have a solution, but I get the neck pain too. Especially when sitting at the computer (like now!!) I try to do lots of stretching, which helps a bit. I used to go to a chiropractor, and that also helped too.
  6. That's what I always say too - I get my exercise just from walking to the kitchen.... Actually usually I try to do a little walking outside. Sometimes I hit the pool and walk in the pool or do leg exercises. I find swimming laps shoots my heart rate up too much. I also try to do some toning exercises as I'm lying down in front of the tv.
  7. I've wondered if this was due to pots or to medication. I sometimes get really spacey and all of a sudden I forget simple things like 'what is my phone number'. It's weird and a little scary.
  8. I also tried Propel because I can't tolerate sugar either. It still tasted really sweet to me, but I could tolerate it It seems to be a good thing to drink when you really need a lift on a hot day though.
