  1. Lol.yeah season 9 is funny as always...at times the strange dark humour reminds me of the old X-files classics. In one of the new episodes Dean "mind melds" with a dog,as chuck says "..it ain't jumping the shark if you never come down"
  2. Cool, hadn't heard of magic piano..on words, username us "resistivism" is my name if anyone ever wants a game.
  3. Lol.thanks Corina.A speedy doc and some much needed injections but I get to stay at home tonight.Morning was a little more interesting than I was ready for !
  4. White hot pain in spine, violent tremors,24 hr on-call doc on the way..time to play the game we all know and hate,...."Ambulance or no ambulance!".morning all.
  5. Recently getting into mobile gaming on android due to way to much spare time, anyone else play?
  6. Mine can go to 60 or more at reat when I'm in "the horrors",which is supposedly too much..,my systolic is usual fairly normal range however diastolic is way too low.Theres been alot of interest in BP pulse pressure of late as an indicator of cardiac health in otherwise normal patients,I feel that this however does not apply to us as there are other reasons why ours has such variation outside of cardiac factors. I have had two different cardiologists assesment my hearts condition as enviable even for my relativly young age. Our problems are autonomic and so abnormal PP ranges are proberbly not an indication of anything negative or otherwise for us.
  7. Ok so while i normally deny ever having seen the show i have to admit i watched every episode on netflix, it's awesome, pretty sure their car is my favorite character :-)
  8. Sorry,if anyone wants to know what happened with this thread I injuref my neck again lifting something at work before I could begin with the inversion table.last few months seeing specialists,oh well back to square one!
  9. Sorry haven't been on for awhile,re injured my neck and had to spend some time in hospital.thanks for all the advice guys.
  10. Hey everyone, just wanted to know if anyone has experienced this before? Back in Jan 2010 I collapsed in the gym lifting weights, woke up in ER unable to breathe, after being tested for heart disease,asthma,brain/lung tumors, diabetes, synactin(hormone processing),various allerges and even AIDs all came back clear. Doctors were confused to say the least, over the next few months I lost about 30lbs(which I didn't have to spare!) I had no other syptoms other than not being able to breathe amd as a result could barely walk unassisted. Thankfully over the next year with alot(100+sessions) of physiotheraphy that cleaned out my savings my symptons finally began to gradually receed, only to be replaced by chronic low BP and orthostatic hypopressure, after several more doc referrals I finally found a specialist who diagnosed me with dysautonomia(altough docs here don't call it that),I have sttuggled with my BP since 2011 untill lastay at which I reinjured myself again!,this time lifting a case of drinks, which leads me to belive my systoms all share the same source!..anyway the weird part is my BP is back to normal since the injury but now I can't breathe properly!again!..it's been six months and am only now well enough to return to physio. My question is this, has anyone experienced these breathing problems and how do they relate to your other symptoms?..as horrible as my sysmptoms are right now I feel that if I can understand this pattern I my have the answer to getting a permanent cure.
  11. OTHER,..I haven't been able to breathe properly in 3 years!
  12. Sorry Issie, meant to say horse chestnut, not Hawthorne.
  13. Have had same issue on and off for years, got rid of it with regular physio session for my neck, and at home i do some light yoga/esgoscue/ or tai chi exercises before bed,and wake up feeling much better,...things get worse when i neglet my routine, but I have to say that physio on my neck/spine works wonders the day after a session, why? ...no idea!
  14. Thanks for the info everyone,to answer some questions,... ...as far as I know my heart rate is in the normal range,60/70's up to high 90s/100s when i stand ...I have tried to eliminate foods high in potassium,OJ,bananas etc. ...i try sit with legs raised, but have not tried to raise limbs in bed, will experiment with this i think... ...Bella holter is normal other than BP,doctor said she was impressed I could stay conscious with such low numbers,am on no meds as of yet because I suspect none of my doctors feel confident enough, all seem to be waiting for someone else to take the responsibility.(Midodrine is all I have heard discussed) ...Soskis I agree that the mechanism at work must be related to my circulation, the only thing that has helped me is trying to swim a few meters in a pool 1/2 per week,..and herbs such as hawthorn and butchers broom, which are natural vasoconstrictors. when this all began 3 years ago my main symptom was severe difficulty breathing after collapsing in the gym, this never fully went away but I was beginning to control its severity, for me it has always seemed than my symptoms(dyspnea, hypotenson,Tinnitus,Tremors,Brainfog, claudication) are a result of many compounded back and neck injuries,as I used to be a boxer(not a very good one!),doctors in Ireland do not recognize Dysautonomia as an illness but will only classify the symptoms(OH,POTS,etc.) so it is hard to get useful info. I do not understand how back/neck injuries could cause all this but that is what my body is telling me since day one,..has anyone had similar experiences?also can anyone clarify the differences between Mido and Flurinef?,uses, side effects, mechanisms? Sorry for being so long winded ,thank you all so much for all the interest and guidance.
  15. Advice needed,if anyone can help, have been suffering greatly with low B.P. particularly in the last few months,..unfortunate because I was finally getting on top of my other symptoms,...my Doc is calling it straight Hypo, but I am unsure,I do not get dizzy spells when standing and frankly have to spend as much of the day as possible on my feet just to feel anyway normal. The real problem occurs when I am sitting or lying down for more than 20 mins my B.P. starts to drop to about 110/55 and will continue to about 95/35 if I dont get up and move around,...any advice? This is driving me crazy,I can't get a moments peace, and I cannot sleep until I am exhausted,..has anyone had similar issues?>,Midodrine is being discussed,..any other possibilities?...even any day to day lifestyle tips?I'm desperate
  16. As far as I know there are several brands on amazon, most of the ones in the 150-300$ range have are lockable at preset angle and will go not further until reset. My plan is to start 5 mins every morning and evening at the lowest angle and gradually increase by 5 degrees every few days if I do not suffer any severe reactions, ill be taking my BP readings several time per day and can post it all here if anyone wants to see it.
  17. Wondering if anyone has tried this, first off ,..I have only in the last 6-7 months been diagnosed with an illness I believe I have been suffering with for over a decade(Irish "Healthcare" system),basically I first began having symptoms of hand tremors, dizziness, palpitations and severe chest pains after working out,at the time i was training in the gym 2-3 hours every evening as well as working nights and going to college during the day,as the years progressed the few times I raised this issue with my doctor he told me I was fine,as the years progressed I began to experience what seemed like severe panic attacks(palpitations/sweating/fast breathing/tremors) however these episodes would never be accompanied by any feeling of anxiety or any emotional component, also i continued to have stabbing chest pains,..by this point I had given up on going to the doctor and just accepted it as something to be put up with , ..as time went on and my work schedule got busier after college, these chest pains/tremor/palpitations disappeared,...I never knew why,but at the time I had stopped lifting weights because of not having enough time and also i had several back injuries,..a year later I began training again and surprise surprise the symptoms came back, all this culminating 3 years ago when I collapsed at home while lifting weights,It seemed I had suddenly lost the ability to breathe properly, and was hospitalized 12 times over the next few months doctors were baffled,I lost nearly two stone of muscle, could not finish a sentence with out taking a deep breathe and nearly passing out and my blood pressure/heart rate were all over the chart.eventually I was diagnosed as having "idiopathic hypotension" -unexplained low blood pressure ,......Of all the doctors/specialists I have seen there is only one treatment that has ever helped,-physiotherapy,It is the only thing that has given me any quality of life, because of this and my history with weight training and back injuries I believe of all my symptoms to be a common source, some form of cervical neck injury,I also developed tinnitus for the first time in my life during this illness which I feel could also have its root in cervical trauma.even though i have had MRI of this area i believe that not all spinal trauma is visible without dynamic MRI(not available in Ireland),and to that end I have decided to experiment with certain treatments myself and observe the results,I have all ready had interesting blood pressure readings from using a cervical neck collar will soon purchase an inversion table to see what effects this will have,my theory is that by alleviating the pressure on my spine I may be able to reduce/effect my symptoms in a measurable way...anyone tried this??(sorry to be so long winded but this is my first post)
