  1. Hi Achilles2323 I get really bad leg pain, particularly if i have had to stand too long or if im having alot of blood pooling in my legs and on occasion my arms feel like ive done an extremely intense workout, when i havnt done a tap. just letting you know your not the only one. ive talked to my POTS specialist and she said unfortunately its part of it :-( she did prescribe me vitamin D although i havnt noticed a difference so far, but maybe it takes time and i will soon feel better for it :-)

  3. Thank you for posting this question ukwildcat, After a very bad day this week, could only lie flat and had bad chest pain, leg pain and dizziness all day, i was feeling too weak to get up to get BP monitor, couldnt move and didint know whether it would have been worth my while to go to A & E or not. My POTS doctor also told me all i could do was wait it out the last time i asked her should i go to the hospital too, but you get to the point and think why the **** should i have to wait it out!! im looking forward to seeing the responses to this one!!! thanks again for posting
  4. Im just wondering if any of you have lower back pain that goes down into your legs that you associate with POTS? the symtoms are so endless tht i find it difficult to distinquish anything as being a seperate health issue. i have had a car tip and a fall in the past two years and have also had a significant increase in symptoms in the last two years which led to my POTS diagnosis erlier this year. The pain is definately not muscular, i think it feels more like nerve damage and often keeps me awake at night (if that makes any sense) and dont know if i should mention it to my cardiologist at my next appointment or not. A previous doctor rolled his eyes and told me every one has back pain. I would be so appreciatiove f any feed back you guys could offer.
  5. Can anyone tell me are the positive effects of florinef long lasting or do patients tend to build up a tolerence to them?
