  1. hey altruism, is the accent the same? hope you had a good weekend too! From what I know different parts of Russia, although the same language have completely different accents so even tho the same language essentially it is hard to interpret accent from one part of russia to another! LOL, I guess any country may be like that, i.e. ebonic, amish, jersey, way down south US LOL
  2. HT888 I would LUV to hear what they have to say when you go, please let me know. My Russian isn't so good anymore:( I used to understand quite a bit and speak but it was more formal, as most books don't teach slang terms and that is how most people talk anymore, languages evolve from what the textbooks teach. I used to write it well, cursive and regular but only know certain phrases right now, I plan on studying back up on it because I like to challenge my mind:) and language is fascinating. Used to want to work as a translater planning on being completely fluent but that plan got dropped somewhere down the road awhile ago.
  3. lol, i hate heat yet I get cold easy too....no easy answer except jump in the nearest pool/water for me! yet i don't faint, have you?
  4. so does it raise blood pressure? are you not hyper rama or do i not remember correctly? ughh, "saving post" again. ***.
  5. hey you, if it's a new symptom, all the body convulsions and stuff then I guess I would be off to the hospital! check your vitals, are they normal for you or off? I can tell that the pain/painkillers or whatever is throwing u off so you have to figure out which/what it is and why! Do what you feel you need to do, your body/mind isn't supposed to lie but sometimes it does with pots i guess:(
  6. i have never heard of that, why does he want to eliminate your output of urine? I was tested for pheo 2x via 24 hr urine and was only told not to eat certain foods, avacado being one i don't know why? when I got my cortisol blood test I think my ep told me to fast, including h20 but when i finally went in to get the test I had drank water and coffee (shoot, I had to take my pills, aye?!) and my results showed nothing, according to my neuro. i had already in my mind fired my ep at that point and never followed up with him, just asked that the results get faxed to neuro.
  7. i'm kinda like you Rich, not a fainter but I used to pull over all the time too as others said. when I drove to work and back, and at traffic lites I would take my vitals cuz I felt like I couldn't breath/forgetting to breathe, I stopped doing that. I avoid driving at all costs cuz it kinda terrifies me however when I do know I have to I up my klonopin (not beyond dr's rx - i am prescribed up to 2mg a day and am only touching 1mg at this point unless I drive....This is only to default my adrenal issue and make me feel calmer.) also, i try very hard not to monitor my vitals at these times cuz it most often scares me more.
  8. actually a very beautiful language.....pronunciation is not how it appears. I also tought myself short hand and egyptian Hieroglyphic handwriting sometime between when I was 10 to 13 years. don't remember a lick of either tho
  9. HT888: Добрый вечер from AZ U.S.! that is very interesting your statistics of dyso in Russia, I am genetically based 100% from the baltic region on my mom's side, waiting to hear from23&me about my dad's side (I suspect irish tho, lol) I used to read/write/speak cyrillic but have lost a lot of knowledge due to deconditioning (don't know a lot of people who speak it out here) (and it's been over 10 years since I tought myself)(and I have pots, that should explain itself yeah?...I don't remember so much anymore). Я так устал, мои глаза слипаются. hope that was close anyway....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz sweet dreams:)
  10. I had really bad tremors/full body skaking/convulsions about a year ago. I don't know what my pupils were doing at that moment but my BF did happen to mentin to me one day during that period my pupils were huge. I guess I havn't experienced the epilepsy/siezure feeling so much really since I've been on klonopin, which is like a year now. remembering back, it was horrible.
  11. i always eat near or around bedtime, drink at least 10 cups (in real terms) of water, sleep on my side, elevated with 2 or 3 pillows behind me and one between my legs but people tend to change position overnite.
  12. sarah, try going off diary/gluten one at a time in order to see where the intolerance is? maybe both or just one? my aunt is a doctor and she recently went thru a food elimination test and she always tended to tell me that she could eat lean meat, but found out she was allergic to all meat, including fish and dairy... thus now she is vegan. not the same for everyone and testing is expensive I guess. i am not hypotensive except suppine, right now, so I am not going to take bb's or florinef. I also have miscarried, lost my water at 3 months but son didn't want to leave me I suppose so it was 7 months of mind fk where I was only allowed to lay flat for over a month, feel my son who was going to die move inside me ( i was at a catholic hospital), except for bathroom and occassional shower. i didn't feel any signs of dysautonomia during that point, kinda started 1 year later i guess? I went back to work after 2 weeks, i needed to pay my rent, not sure if i ever sufferred ppd, I volunteered at a nursing home for a minute to take my mind off of things but didn't feel very valuable at that point, like they were just trying to create activity for me. I think I am infertile in many senses, have not been on birth control like forever....and have only been pregnant 2x that I know of ( i guess some gals don't know if it's miscarraige or aflow), regardless, i have 2 sons, one lived, one is in heaven. when i see your levels they dont qualify for hypo pots but anyone can correct me as I have never had that testing, i was only dx'd by neuro/epcardio based on symptoms/vitals and I would like to add that for most those vary day to day. So here are yours, based on a certain day, certain symptoms; Orthostatic testing: Dopamine levels supine 23/ norepi levels 130/ epinephrine levels less than 20 Standing dopamine 26/ norepi levels 324/ epinephrine levels 52 At time of syncope after 11 mins tilted: dopamine 23/ norepi levels 255/ epinephrine 80 After being placed supine catecholamines were norepi 160/epi 132/dopamine 25 those are not "normal" statistics of hyper-pots from what i understand but def. show something is going on.
  13. when i have back kneck pain i fall asleep with an ice pack wrapped in towel. dont notice what elevation does for me tho since I tend to change positions, i am most comfy lying on my right side with 1 pillow wedged between my thighs and one behind my back. i heard before this helps your posture tho, not sure how related this could be for pots but it is could for posture/back. never tried a kneck collar, the ice pack always seemed relieve until I could go back to sleep. ikd about the 6:00 a.m. thing, that's when i usually get up to take my meds and get ready for work. when I was experiencing night/early adrenal surges they were around 4:00 a.m. sleep walking i thing usually occurs arround 12:00 to 4:00 a.m.?
  14. I have that. My bf says sometimes he gets worried cuz I stop breathing for a moment. I also started snoring too, don't know why! Another weird thing I developed in the last 2 years is sleepwalking, last night for example. Doesn't commonly happen but a handful of times.
  15. yeah cars often make me dizzy, especially when driving. I noticed several years back that my night vision got all wacky and driving at night freaked me out. Mainly, the yellow lines and reflectors in the road I couldn't calculate distance and sometimes got confused as to which line to follow. I have always gotten car sick too....when we went on vacations when I was a girl we would always drive and I always got nauseous
  16. i've always skipped these threads on headaches cuz i don't get headaches. knock on wood. pots maybe progresses into headache issues?, did you all have headaches prior or into pots, and are you hyper or hypo?
  17. hey yeah, i think this has been discussed alot on dinet. I find that most people believe it is something in the genes, however they skip generations and pop up with werid other autoimmune issues in families, not neccessarily pots.
  18. tho i love rain which we hardly get in AZ, i can tell a day or two before when we barometric pressure changes i feel like I have the flu, or arthritis. Still, I love the rain so its just a trade off i guess.
  19. failure to navigate pathways/make navigation decisions.....i saw in peregrines info that this is an issue. I have had this since childhood, i tend to walk into people instead of alongside them. I am left handed and tend to walk into people on the right if that makes sense I kinda always cut them off so to speak. as well as swings, always hated them and now I notice my son who is 3 has a fear/terror of swings. is this a vertigo related issue or what?
  20. wow, didn't know about c diff but from what i understand white pasta, skinless potatoes are supposed to help and it is a gut bacterium so you need to stay on antibiotics? r u on antibiotics for that? yet i read conflicting info such as it is a Gram-positive, anaerobic, spore-forming rods (bacillus). also treatment is by stopping any antibiotics and commencing specific anticlostridial antibiotics, and with the protozoa how do you tackle that? don't know anything about this info regarding c diff but am interested, do you have an explanation you would be willing to share? and why chemo - what age were you at when you realized this if you don't mind me asking?
  21. fah,,, I love and believe in potatoes which are full of starch. There's a book, potatoes vs prozac. how did the irish survive during the potato famine? they are loaded with protein/aemino acids and all the electrolites. i only cut out oils and cooking with oil. dont think i could handle beet soup i hate beets. guess things work differently for different people tho. Potatoes also contain a variety of phytonutrients that have antioxidant activity. also, see below: Here are some health benefits of Potatoes: Weight gain Potatoes are rich in carbohydrates and less protein. This makes it an ideal diet for those who are thin and want to increase body weight. The vitamins contained in potatoes like vitamin-C and B-complex are also essential for proper absorption of this carbohydrate. That’s why it become an inevitable part of the diet for Sumo Wrestlers. Digestion Since potatoes rich in carbohydrates, so it is easy to digest and facilitate digestion. This makes them a good diet for patients, babies and those who difficult to digest but require energy. Skin care Vitamin-C, B-complex and minerals like potassium, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc are good source for the skin care. Pulp obtained in crushed raw potatoes, mixed with honey, can also be applied as a poultice in clearing the wrinkles and other skin blemishes due to aging. Brain function Proper brain function largely depend on oxygen supply, glucose level, magnesium, some members of the vitamin B complex and some hormones, such as amino acids and fatty acids like omega-3 fatty acids. Potatoes meet almost all the needs mentioned above. In addition, it contains certain other substances like zinc and phosphorus which are good for brain too. Inflammation Nutrient contained in potatoes like vitamin C, vitamin B and potasium are good source to relieve inflammation, both internal and external such as inflammation of intestines and the digestive system. Since it’s soft and easy digestible then make them a good diet for those who have mouth ulcers. Rheumatism Some nutrient like vitamins, calcium and magnesium in potatoes can help reduce rheumatism.Apart from some health benefits mentioned above, potatoes are also good for heart, energy recovery when diarrhea and other illnesses. Are you still afraid to eat potatoes? As long as you do not consume excess, a portion of French fries are also have health benefits. I have read that milk/dairy etc. is bad for autoimmune. so every doctor must have a different concept on what is healthy for a specific individual for whatever reason.
  22. so essentially we r vampires eat tons of garic. and onions.
