  1. When this whole thing staryed for me back in May I had a sudden sezuire type thing with my arm lasting a minute or two topes. Then my whole body stayed in this almost plugged in mode where literally could feel my blood pressure elevated as well as heart rate. Slept on it andit continued where my body was plugged in, shakey, high BP for an entire weekend before finally going to the ER where they of course found nothing. This happened again where I could literally not sleep from the jittery nature of my body and had to again go to the ER after two nights/days of little sleep. Only beginning to figure this thing out but looking back wondering if what I described was an adrenaline surge and if so can they or has anyone experienced one lasting several days. My entire being literally felt on high alert with a shaky feeling for 2 days each time. Plus any medicine only made it way worse.
  2. Can someone explain what blood pooling in legs FEELS like? Everytime I ride the recumbent bike i literally FEEL the blood down there. So weird. My calf muscles are also tight and have lost muscle tone if that makes sense. If any of this makes sense
  3. I was an exerciseaholic prior to this so its all about learning to trust your body again. So hard to overcome it and would welcome any tips. This recovery story is an amazing inspiration.
  4. Been doing the recumbent bike around 20 minutes every day for a few weeks and feeling better for it today, however, decided to jog in place for around 12 minutes and upon finishing was light headed and had palpitations. Had the full cardio workout and wondering if anyone ever gets this from exercising upright?
  5. This Summer my body literally felt on fire. Anyone else? It has since calmed down but an AZ summer coupled with the feeling of my entire body inflammed was less then desirable
  6. My vitamin D levels have been low as well. Along same lines, anyone else have low white blood cell counts?
  7. Currently undiagnosed but been monitoring my heart rate this weekend. This morning went from 60 and dropped suddenly to 30 andback up to normal. Been having flutters in my chest daily sermingly worse during my monthly cycle.is this POTS related?
  8. So, attempted a mile long walk (prior to whatever this is was an avid exerciser) and noticed my hands changed color during the walk. As in red with visible white speckles under the skin. What the heck is this? Also very shaky after the walk. Thanks so much for all the help thus far.
  9. Yes, a few nights ago read the symptoms on this page and cried as I've had many of them with no a gnswers and this may be my answer.going to neuro tomorrow for EEG on hands and going to mention it to her. Can I?have POTS without ever fainting.
  10. In May of this past year began not feeling well. Major heat intolerance, foggy head, headaches, tingling back, stiff neck, racing heart, near fainting episodes, an arythmia that kept me overnight in the ER and very low blood pressure and heart rate (lying down). In addition, developed GERD, stomach bloating, constipation and asthma. Been to many docs had the full cardio workup, gastro workup and now into the full neuro workup in which doc said she was shocked my mri didn't show for ms. Presently, when I stand up my heart races and feel lightheaded with blurry vision yet have never fainted. My hand coordination is not what is used to be with muscle loss, overall weakness, anxiety that seems to come on without my control, numbness and tingling limbs, cold feet and hands severe exercise intolerance, body temperature regulations issues and severe fatigue. Last night had an adrenaline rush that suddenly made my body burn up in addition to sweating and rapid heart rate. I've had so many tests and ruled out many things but wondering if this sounds like POTS at all? I am a 30 year old female who has given up being a head girls basketball coach because this has so completely knocked me on my butt and am barely able to teach. Frustrated and wondering if anyone has any insight? Whether I need to go back to my cardio or discuss with neuro? Thanks
