  4. Happy Holidays! Before I was diagnosed , my doctor thought I had vertigo and prescribed meclizine. I get dizzy here and there and feel funny more often then not but this was so weird. I came home last night and was starving, felt like a low sugar. It made me dizzy, couldnt move my head without feeling yuck and very tachy...couldnt sleep because I was so dizzy. I tested my blood pressure trying to lay dow in bed and it was low, 85/ 57 and ate a bag of potato chips and tried to sleep but was too dizzy....and today was a mess. What do you think? A vertigo attack or pots? Thank you

  15. hi I just posted about this as well.. I also have high sugar readings and my endo who knows nothing about pots says that cortisol can have a play in sugar levels. I am sure there is something all related...trying to figure this all out.. let us know what happens. or feel free to email me.. Its all so frusterated..
  16. Hello.. I often feel I am having hypoglycemic feeling, all the symptoms, fast hert rate etc...but when I test my blood levels they are either normal or even high. My endocrinologist has no clue and thinks my cortisol might have the answer. My cortisol was slightly high during the day and going to do the dexamethasone suppression test which I am sure will be normal ( my siste's was and we have same thing ) Any thoughts or has anyone experienced this? Thank you
  17. Thank you for everyones great responses.. The question is...if sugar levels ar ehigh, a1c levels are ok, cortisol levels are wacky....anypne taking metformin or something for sugar readings? My endo is not very familiar with pots but feels that heart palps, tachycardia etc can be also from sugar fluctuations.. Thanks !
  18. hello I went to the endocrinologist today, who oby the way knew nothing about pots....I reallu feel that my weiird glucose levels might be realted to something else... any thoughts?

  21. hi.. I thought it was only me... I feel horrible in the morning and ehh by lunch and then better later in the day.. Does anyone know why thats so...and what can we do for this? It makes functioning hard, especially with getting kids off to school. Thanks
  22. hi.. I am not diabetic, at least not yet... From what my dr. explained, when cortisoal levels are high, your insulin drops and you get hypoglycemia...when cortisol are low the opposite might happen. My cortisol levels are low in the am...So, question, do we fix or try to ix cortisol first or sugar first and hope everything comes back together. This dr. is not a pots specialist. Thanks
  23. I was playing around with an old glucose monitor and have been finding that my sugar levels are high in the morning. Its funny though because I wake up feling hungry and shaky etc.. My dr. says that everything is connected, adrenal fatigue, sugars, tachy blood pressure...etc.. oh my...
  24. Thanks for the reply... I dont find it keeps me up at night but my mornings are so horrible .. So, I was wondering if that had any relation Thanks
