  15. Mine started with mono when I was 21. I was never the same since. I then was sick again a few months later and diagnosed by a cardiologist because of tachycardia with epstein barr virus. Remember going to so many doctors but no one diagnosed me. I was functional though all those years , always hoping I would never pass out. It was over the last 3 years, that my symptoms really flared up from a flu and a ton of stress. At least I finally got diagnosed but unfortunately, I am not so functional anymore.
  16. Hi I went to my cardiologist 2 years ago who basically prescribed xanax and told me to drink water and have salt. I wanted to go back for a follow up but they no longer took my insurance so I asked for a copy of my echocardiogram report. It said the following which shocked me 1.) Indications: Heart Murmur 2.)Mild Concentric LVH 3.) Mild LA dialation 4.) Trace MR/TR I am annoyed he didnt say anything, but meanwhile I made an appointment with new dr. Any ideas what this is? thanks
  17. hi I have the same issues and completely understand how you feel. I do try to go out by myself, even if for a short time. I try to park close to the store so if I dont feel well I can sit down. But I still cant go food shopping or drive too long myself, definitely not like I used to. I do feel much better when my husband is with me and waiting in the car in front, I wish I had better ideas but can say I understand you and go slow.
  18. I have been reading that Taurine helps with cardiac functioning and balancing electrolytes So, was wonder if anyone has tried it?
  19. yes, this too is very tough for me. I pretty much have avoided crowds, it makes me crazy and then anxiety sets in, and I was never an anxious person. It does take all my energy to stay focused and calm. From a once a upon a time, independent, social person, this is very difficult.
  20. thank you Although the dr. didnt feel I needed it persay, I do! And I fought for it. Iam hoping it can make those shifts less dramatic. thanks again

  24. Can you actually pass out from having tachycardia? I had to bring my son his lunch to school (he forgot at home) , I walked up the steps with his lunch and bottle of soda for class party. Big mistake!!! I thought I was going to die! My heart rate shot up so high, I felt like I would pass out...can you ? It took a while to calm down and had internal shakiness and all...what a morning!
