Yep, the moderators were just doing their job when they deleted the post....things like that have to be cleared by DINET first or Lord knows what would end up on the forum. Hi Joe, I take a beta blocker and I have POTS & EDS. Although it is a vasodilator and this would seem contradictory, the beta blocker helps my POTS symptoms tremendously. As for beta blockers causing anxiety, I have not personally experienced this. Some actors actually take beta blockers before they perform to reduce anxiety. Michelle

Hi Melanie, We did think about going the Charity route (missionfish) on ebay. Unfortunately the old adage "nothing for free" applies here too. Missionfish charges extra fees on top of what ebay already charges, which is why we chose not to use their service. Michelle

We did wonder if the holiday had anything to do with lower bids. The website in general is a little slower in summertime...the kids are out of school and a lot of people are busy. We may hold next year's auction in the spring or fall instead of in the summer, especially if we get more seasonal items, like the scarves. Thanks again! Michelle

Hi Beth, I can't wait to get my medical bracelet/necklace. I had my eye on it for quite a while. It was one Nina donated. She does beautiful work. Alexia said she will be mailing out whatever is already paid for on Monday. Everyone should have gotten their invoices, and if anyone has any questions they can email me at staff@dinet.org. I'm still amazed at all the beautiful things people donated. You guys are so talented. I was showing some of the girls I work with (at the library) the items that had been donated and they just kept going on and on about how nice they were. Thank you donors and bidders! Michelle

TMJ goes hand in hand with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). I have TMJ, but have been lucky in that it hasn't caused me too much pain. As for mouthpiece's, you could even buy a mouth gaurd at a sporting goods store (usually less than $5) to see if it helps before spending a lot of money. I've been told the generic mouthpieces they sell in drugstores are very similar to the mouth guards you get in a sporting goods store. I don't know if that is true...I've never compared the two. His reply was "Seems like some form of HR variability. Fractal indices can be calculated too. Nobody knows exactly what this means. We and others have done this type of analysis for years."
